Barrister Ekpen Otoibhili

Program Director, HACDI Africa

As a Legal and Gender Specialist, working with the team at HACDI has shown my commitment to advancing human development and strengthening communities through justice, equity, and empowerment. With over a decade of experience in law, peacekeeping, and conflict resolution, I bring a unique perspective that bridges legal expertise with grassroots advocacy.

My work focuses on creating inclusive frameworks that protect rights, promote gender equality, and foster peaceful coexistence between civil and institutional actors. At HACDI Africa, I champion initiatives that address systemic barriers to human advancement, ensuring that vulnerable groups, particularly women and youth are empowered to thrive. By combining legal strategy, mediation, and policy development, I help design sustainable solutions that drive social transformation and community resilience. My passion lies in building societies where fairness, dignity, and opportunity are not ideals but lived realities.
